In The Maze Runner. Chapter 2Chapter 2
Newt explained everything. He also gave me an apple and a drink.
"Thanks." I said. He smiled.
A dark-skinned boy with short black hair and brown eyes walked in. I looked at him. He looked at me.
"Hey shank. Name's Alby," the dark skinned boy said.
"Maisie." I said.
"Nice to meet you." Alby said.
"You too." I said. I got up and looked around.
A another boy walked in. He had blue eyes and brown hair. His brown hair hung down over his ears, scraping the tops of his shoulders.
"She's awake!" the boy said.
"Thank you Captain obvious." Newt said.
"That's Chuck." Alby said.
"Hey Chuck." I said. Chuck smiled at me. I smiled back.
"Hey! What's your name?" he asked.
"Maisie." I replied. I looked at Newt and Alby. "Has he had skittles or something?"
Newt looked confused.
"Never mind." I said. I walked out of the room and down the stairs. The stairs creaked. Boys stared at me.
I walked out into the Glade and looked around.

I'm not exactly sure how I got into the world of the Maze Runner. I actually don't know. I'm at home, on the computer and relaxing. Next thing I know, I'm in a stinkin' Maze with no memory. Except, I remember my name.
I looked at the huge walls. I got up and brushed the dirt of my clothes. I sorted out my hair and looked around again. I had no idea where I was. It looked like I was in a Maze. But where?
I froze. What was that noise?
There it was again. I turned around and my heart rose into my chest. There was.. I wasn't exactly sure what it was.
It was a half-lizard-thingy, half-machine. It had metal spikes coming out of its body. Damn, that thing was ugly. It came rolling towards me. I shrieked slightly.
I turned around and legged it. I ran as fast as I could. I turned left and right.
